Coming out of my comfort zone I decided to study clouds this week, firstly because it is a theme in which me a lot of attention, for having infinite shapes and silhouettes. To start I work on some sketches to familiarize myself with the forms, in my second study I simply decided to paint them to understand better, without worrying much (...) Obvious that the result did not please me, so I decided to work on my own failures, I started the painting by establishing the largest "shapes", thinking of each as a three-dimensional mass, to be more specific, in blocks ... That was what worked best, I can say it was a challenging experience.

Saindo de minha zona de conforto resolvi estudar esta semana nuvens, primeiramente por ser um tema na qual me chama muita atenção, por ter infinitas formas e silhuetas. Para começar trabalhar em alguns esboços para me familiarizar com as formas, em meu segundo estudo simplesmente resolvi pintá-las para entender melhor, sem me preocupar muito (...) Óbvio que o resultado não me agradou, então resolvi trabalhar em cima dos meus fracassos, iniciei a pintura estabelecendo os maiores “shapes”, pensando em cada um como uma massa tridimensional, pra ser mais específico, em blocos (...) Foi o que funcionou melhor, posso dizer que foi uma experiência desafiadora.
